What to do when webmin isn’t working right? You point yourself to that location in the browser, expect to go there but nothing happens. I hate nothing more than to see somebody having dedicated hosting trouble, but hopefully this will help.
First, please check that webmin process is running by reviewing the list of processes on the server. Then ensure that the port 10000 is opened in firewall on your server, if you have any. You could also try:
https://the.server.ip.address:10000/
It might also be a good idea to check your /var/log/messages for any topics there that might help to hunt down the problem you are having. If anything this should help point you in the right direction with your own dedicated hosting woes.
